Discernment......God is Good! All the time!!!

Tonight we had a God moment at our Friday night Bible study. We had a young woman show up over half way through the study looking for "assistance". I've learned that most folks in the World believe that Christians are stupid. Well, this woman got a little lesson tonight. She didnt get exactly what she wanted, but she got what she needed. After getting about half a Bible study where the lessons of life were flying directly to her unintentionally on our part, but remember God is Good.... Then she got to be part of prayer time, not once but twice. She got most of our youth pastors sandwich materials, and some bottled water to drink. She also got instructions on where to get more help. Granted she didnt go there, but why would she? Folks looking for a "fix" dont go to the Cops to get help even if that is where the help is. Fortunately my wife and I were at this meeting tonight. We werent going to be there but we were. As soon as she walked to the door, I knew..... I left the group at one point and went to pray about it. I was scared I was being judgemental. As I prayed a peace came over me and the feelings I had at first meeting were solidified. After inspecting the parking lot I went back in through the back door and into the study again. Then it became even more apparent what she was "really" after. She had the shakes, itching, and very jittery. I know I wasnt the only one that noticed all of this because she didnt get money from anyone. I hope everyone reading this takes time to pray before the become "charitable". Sometimes charity is helping keep the person seeking it from getting what they really need. I rarely give cash to anyone seeking help. Cash can buy Crack or Booze, Gift cards cant. Food may get thrown away, but you know they have an opportunity to eat. I really like gift cards!!! Here is why.... After they come down, they can eat. The gift card does not tempt them. Someone could have all intentions of getting food, but that devil drives them down. Jerry Garcia once sang, I went down to the levy and the Devil caught me there. He took my $20 bill and vanished in the air....... That happens too easily some times!!! I guess what I'm saying through all of this is be very giving as often as you can, but do it with Gods guidence. Be smart about how you give. I'm tired y'all so I'm out!
Hope this all reads okay!

His will be done isnt always mine!

As you've read my wife and I were expecting a child. Well now we have miscarried that child. Not too long ago we saw a heartbeat and a baby forming in the womb. This past week we saw a yoke sack that was broken and no heartbeat. I've been jumping back and forth with my emotions. I just know my wife is probably taking it harder than I. I find it difficult to understand and I dont like it, but I have to accept it.... I have no other choice! I thought we were well on our way to becoming parents and then it was just taken away. This is our second miscarriage and is more difficult to deal with than the first, I guess because of the heartbeat.
I know God has not forsaken us. I know God has answered our prayers. The answer was a definate NOT NOW. We know we can get pregnant, so that's a positive. We know that prayer does work, that's positive. We know we have friends and family that love us and support us and pray for us, that's very positive! Even through the tragedy God reveals His love and grace. I just want to pray for everyone that doesnt know Him, and for those that know Him but have forgotten who He really Is! May God reveal Himself to you too.

On a slightly lighter note, did anyone notice how the Chinese divers looked hungry? How they looked like the Ethiopian that we used to see on the TV commercials? You know the ones that "for only the price of a cup of coffee a day we can feed them"? Something is wrong with that! Talk about China's injustice, it's right in front of the cameras!!! Those poor girls have been starved so that they wouldnt have a figure that would cause a splash.......

I'm done. So peace out my people!
Love ya, mean it!

Prayers that are fulfilled......Glory to God!

I've been telling this to several people since monday when my wife and I had an ultrasound. But it starts like this.....
Back in June my wife and I attended a Homecoming service at her grandmothers church in Boone NC. They had a special preacher doing the service that morning with it being the 50th Anniversary and all. The preacher is named Jim Henry and he is truely a man after Gods heart!
As he started to preach he mentioned that he had been bombarded with people wanting prayers to have babies. So he has been praying for people to have babies. Well that's when he said something to the tune of, I feel led to pray for that here (not a direct quote because I cant remember his exact words). This past monday we went for the ultrasound. They measure the baby and here is what they found and said...... The baby measures 6 weeks and 1 day......That's right! Praise God! That sunday was 6 weeks from the time of the sermon and prayer, and the monday added the 1 day. I know many people will discount this as coincidence, but my Faith tells me other wise! God is good, All The Time! I know God has blessed us once again through the power of prayer.
I keep finding myself telling about this, and I'll shout it from the mountain top. This is Miraculous and needs to be shared to everyone who will listen.
In return if you have a prayer request, I'd like to pray for you. I'll keep it on the down low unless you specifically tell me to pass it on to some prayer warrior friends of mine.
Thank you God for the many blessings you've given, and the opportunities I have that I came lift others up in prayer. Thank you for awesome men of God like Jim Henry that pray fervantly for your people. Thank you father and All the Glory to You! Amen

Peace and Chicken grease y'all!
And as always, go out and change this world!

Inspiration....Come and Listen to what is True

I have come to find a song that has become one of my all time favorites. Of course my wife and church family introduced me to it. The song is By a group named Leeland....great name if I do say so myself! The song is "Tears of the Saints". I'm adding the lyrics to this blog, but I recommend that you listen to the song and read the lyrics. It's STRONG!!!

Tears Of The Saints
There are many prodigal sons
On our city streets they run
Searching for shelter
There are homes broken down
People’s hopes have fallen to the ground
From failures
This is an emergency!
There are tears from the saints
For the lost and unsaved
We’re crying for them come back home
We’re crying for them come back home
And all your children will stretch out their hands
And pick up the crippled man
Father, we will lead them home Father, we will lead them home
There are schools full of hatred
Even churches have forsaken
Love and mercy
May we see this generation
In its state of desperation
For Your glory
This is an emergency!
There are tears from the saints
For the lost and unsaved
We’re crying for them come back home
We’re crying for them come back home
And all your children will stretch out their hands
And pick up the crippled man
Father, we will lead them home
Father, we will lead them home
Sinner, reach out your hands!
Children, in Christ you stand!
Sinner, reach out your hands!
Children, in Christ you stand!
There are tears from the saints
For the lost and unsaved
We’re crying for them come back home
We’re crying for them come back home
And all Your children will stretch out their hands
And pick up the crippled man
Father, we will lead them home
Father, we will lead them home

Now I leave you with that, So now let's all go out and Change this World!
Peace,
Lee

Do da Do Sunshine day dreams

Caps off to the United States Olymic Team!!! Go get'em! I have a few events I like to watch, so I guess I'm excited about the games starting today....... I almost want to start a USA chant, but that would wake my wife and I'd really be in trouble. I wonder what protests will make the news. I know people will be protesting numerous things, like Tibetan Monks, Communism, and probably a whole slew of other issues. We really need to cover all of our brothers and sisters.....cousins, however you want to describe them, in prayer. I had wanted to get a handful of "Pray for China" Bands, but I'm a little tired of this whole big rubber band bracelett fad. I decided instead of getting the fashion statements, maybe I should just pray!
The need for prayer is "in your face" everytime I watch any news. Just now on the morning news they were talking about the terrorist threats at the Games. Our President is over there to cheer on the Americans. The smog in China makes L.A. look like the clean air city of the year!!!
So that was 3 things to pray about, and if I thought just a little harder I probably could think of more....like the tibetan monks, christian persacution, and on and on and on..... But it is 6:00 am Eastern and my mind is still just a little foggy. Now, After we Pray this morning for China lets go out and be grateful that we are in the United States regardless of how bad things are here..... Thank the Lord we are living in China.

Go out and change the world into a place you want to be!
Peace

We fired our guns and the British keep coming, but there werent as many as there were a while ago.....

Hello My Peoples! I have so much I want to talk about, but I am refraining from getting out of hand. So I'll just stick with a stick it to the man message. It finally looks like we have oil prices heading in the right direction! The price of sweet crude has continually dropped the past few days, and we need to keep them going that way. Now is not the time to get all excited about $3.60 a gallon gas. If we start buying gas like we did when it was growing to the point of $4 that made us start using less to begin with, we'll be in trouble again. We as consumers have to stay strong and not give in to the urge to start using more gasoline than we need. Believe me, my wife and I absolutely LOVE going to the mountains. The outragous gas price has made us stop going every few weekends. Continue to be good stewards of what God has given, and dont waste. We need to drive the prices down to $1.25 again! I know folks are just waiting for the pain to ease just enough to drive the price back up, but where will it stop next time? $6 a gallon? We will continue to try and find ways to save in my house. Even $2.50 is a shame and disgraceful. Stay strong, drive less, drive slower, and more efficiently.
That's all I'm ranting about tonight so peace out my people!
Holla,
Lee
